Revolt Motors announced the launch of two electric motorcycles RV1 and RV1+, which has gained over 16,000 bookings within the first week of its launch.
The two electric motorcycles, RV1 and RV1+, which were launched by Nitin Gadkari, Minister of Road Transport and Highways, on September 17, this year; are offered at an introductory price of Rs. 84,990 and Rs. 99,990 respectively.
Speaking about the response with much enthusiasm, Anjali Rattan, Chairperson of Rattan India Enterprises, shared, “We are deeply humbled by the unprecedented demand for the RV1. This monumental response not only strengthens our resolve but inspires us to continue leading the charge in India’s electric mobility revolution. The RV1 was designed with the everyday Indian commuter in mind, and to witness its acceptance at such a massive scale within a week is both thrilling and rewarding.”
RV1 and RV 1+: Features
The RV1 offers a lithium-ion battery type with 2.2 Kwh battery capacity, takes two hours and 15 minutes to charge up and provides a warranty of five years or 75K km (whichever comes first). The electric motorcycle offers a peak 2.8 KW mid-drive motor, 1350 mm wheelbase, mechanical key ignition type, and two years warranty of the charger (from the date of purchase).
The RV1+ offers the same lithium-ion battery type with 3.24 Kwh battery capacity, takes three hours 30 minutes to charge up and just like RV1, provides a warranty of five years or 75K km (whichever comes first). This electric motorcycle offers the similar wheel base, ignition type, mid-drive and charger warranty as RV1.
