The latest offering in the sub 500cc segment in India is the Hero Mavrick, a retro roadster based on the new Harley-Davidson X440, developed by Hero MotoCorp and the US motorcycle maker. The Mavrick was showcased earlier this year and was officially launched a few days ago, carrying a price tag of Rs 1.99 lakh, ex-showroom.

Hero Mavrick variants explained
Hero Mavrick Base variant
Being the range-starter, the Base variant of the Mavrick carries a price tag of Rs 1.99 lakh, ex-showroom. The Base version of the Mavrick gets spoke wheels, tubed tyres, a single-tone Arctic White colour option, and a digital instrument cluster with no phone connectivity option. The motorcycle also skips on the machine-finished fins for the engine.
Hero Mavrick Mid variant
The Mid variant of the Hero Mavrick costs Rs 2.14 lakh ex-showroom, and gets two colour options: Celestial Blue and Fearless Red. That said, the Mid variant of the Mavrick also misses out on the phone connectivity option but gets alloy wheels with tubeless tyres.
Hero Mavrick Top variant
The top-of-the-line variant of the new Hero Mavrick carries a price tag of Rs 2.24 lakh ex-showroom and is available in two colour options: Phantom Black and Enigma Black. Other features that set it apart from the other two variants include smartphone connectivity, navigation, call notifications, and 3D badging amongst others.
