Suzuki unveiled the heavily updated Access 125 earlier this year at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo. The new Access 125 is available in three variants and priced between Rs 81,700 and Rs 93,300 (ex-showroom). It gets refreshed styling apart from being convenient thanks to two new cubby holes with a USB charging port, a flatter and more spacious seat, increased floor space, and slightly larger under-seat storage. With technical improvements, the 124cc engine now produces 8.3 bhp and 10.2 Nm of torque.
Honda Activa
Honda Activa is by far the most popular scooter in the country, available in both 110cc and 125cc guises. However, more than the petrol-powered version, the Activa was more in the news for its recently-launched battery-powered iteration. The all-electric Activa, better known as the Activa e, went on sale last month after a price announcement late last year. Available in two variants, the Honda Activa e is priced at Rs 1.17 lakh (ex-showroom).

Hero Xoom
Hero MotoCorp is expanding the Xoom range of scooters into three different segments including 110cc, 125cc, and 160cc. The latter two are new additions to the lineup. The Xoom 125 is priced at Rs 86,900 (ex-showroom) onwards and a direct rival to the TVS Ntorq whereas the larger Xoom 160, priced at Rs 1.48 lakh (ex-showroom) will lock horns with Yamaha Aerox 155 and Aprilia SCR 160.
