Chinese two-wheeler maker CFMoto has unveiled two 450cc motorcycle concepts, which are expected to go into production next year. The concepts showcased are called the CL-C Low Ride and CL-X Spirit, based on existing models of CFMoto.

CFMoto CL-C Low Ride

The CL-C Low Ride concept is a cruiser, a low-slung motorcycle with a relaxed riding position. The interesting design feature of the Low Ride is the front suspension setup, which uses a horizontally placed suspension between the front forks. The motorcycle features beefy tyres and twin exhausts that blend well with the minimalistic rear design of the Low Ride.

CFMoto CL-X Spirit

The second concept, the CL-X Spirit, is a retro-themed scrambler that offers an upright seating position, wide bars, a single-piece seat, and long travel suspension. The motorcycle features minimal bodywork and gets twin exhausts tucked away right next to the pillion seat.

The CL-X Spirit gets LED lighting all around, an off-set round instrument cluster, spoke wheels at both ends with dual-purpose tyres, disc brakes and both ends, USD forks, and a monoshock at the rear.

CFMoto CL-C Low Ride and CL-X Spirit engine specifications

Both motorcycles feature a 450cc liquid-cooled parallel-twin engine, however, the specifications have not been revealed. The engine could make around 40bhp and 42Nm of torque, going by CFMoto’s existing range offered globally. The motorcycles could also get ABS and traction control developed and finetuned by Continental.

CFMoto launching the CL-C Low Ride and CL-X Spirit in India is likely, but not confirmed. CFMoto currently offers street naked and touring motorcycles in India, and since the company has a dealer and service network setup, the introduction of the new models won’t be a task.
