Bajaj Auto has officially confirmed the launch of the Pulsar N125 on October 16. The N125 will go up against the TVS Raider 125 and Hero Xtreme 125R and Honda SP 125. The N125 is going to be the third 125 cc motorcycle in the Pulsar lineup after the Pulsar 125 and the NS125.
Bajaj Pulsar N125: What is it?
Based on the teaser shared by Bajaj, the new Pulsar N125 is an urban based motorcycle, which could be a premium commuter based two wheeler. Previously, we had revealed the spy images of the NS125 and according to the images, it sports an LED-headlight, typical Pulsar muscular shaped tank and twin LED tail lights. It gets a wide handlebar, split designed seat and traditional grab rail for the pillion.
Bajaj Pulsar N125: Engine and Hardware
The N125 is expected to be powered by the 11.8 bhp 125 cc air cooled engine with 10.8 Nm of torque. It will be paired to a 5-speed gearbox. There are reports that Bajaj might spruce up the engine with some additional zing.
In terms of hardware, the N125 will get traditional telescopic front forks with a rear mono shock. It will get a combination of front disc brake and rear drum. The top model may offer a rear disc brake.
Bajaj Pulsar N125: Expected Price
With the current Pulsar 125 and NS125 priced at Rs 92,883 and Rs 1.01 lakh, the N125 is expected to cost around Rs 1 lakh. The new N125 will make its debut on October 16 and will go up against the TVS Raider 125, Hero Xtreme 125R and the Honda SP 125.
