Royal Enfield sales zoom 59% in September

Royal Enfield sales in the domestic market stood at 43,741 as against 27,540 units in the same month last year, up 58.82 per cent. (Reuters)

Royal Enfield, the two-wheeler division of Eicher Motors, on Thursday reported 58.78 per cent jump in total sales at 44,491 units in September.

The two-wheeler manufacturer had sold 28,020 units in September 2014, Eicher Motors said in a BSE filing.

Sales in the domestic market stood at 43,741 as against 27,540 units in the same month last year, up 58.82 per cent.

Exports during the month rose 56.25 per cent to 750 units compared with 480 units in September 2014.
