Co-founder and CEO of Zomato Deepinder Goyal has been on a roll since last year. His food delivery app-based company’s stock skyrocketed last year by over 300 per cent. Early this year, Goyal added the exotic Aston Martin DB12 and last month in July, he joined the elite billionaire club. To add a cherry on top to the good times, Goyal has added an iconic two-door Bentley Continental GT. The Continental GT Speed is the latest to join Goyal’s luxurious cars including Ferrari Roma, Porsche 911 Turbo S and the Lamborghini Urus.

Goyal was seen driving his Monaco Yellow coloured Continental GT Speed in the streets of Delhi. This model is powered by the legendary 6-litre W12 engine, which the company announced last year that it would scrap the production of this powerplant. What makes the engine unique is that it is hand-built with 12 cylinders and is the second most powerful engine in the Bentley lineup. The Continental GT Speed produces 641 bhp and 900 Nm of torque. It is mated to an 8-speed ZF automatic transmission. The Continental GT Speed comes standard with an all-wheel-drive system. According to Bentley, it does 0 – 100 kmph in 3.5 seconds with a top speed of 315 kmph.
Bentley Continental GT Speed: New 4-litre V8 hybrid
Bentley decided to pull the plug on the W12 engine because the company wants its lineup to be either plug-in hybrids or fully electric by 2026. The bigger picture in mind is to over a complete electric lineup by 2030. Therefore, the new engine that the Continental GT Speed now comes with is a 4-litre Ultra-Performance Hybrid V8 powertrain that generates 771 bhp and 1000 Nm of torque. According to Bentley, it is almost 20 per cent more than even the previous Continental GT Speed – does from 0-100 kmph in 3. 2 seconds and has a maximum speed of 335 kmph.
