The new Q5 is 90 kg lighter than its predecessor thanks to the extensive use of high-tensile steel and aluminium. The SUV also features ‘personal route assist’ borrowed from Audi Q7 and the Audi A4. Initially the 2018 Audi Q7 will be launched in a diesel variant and we will see the introduction of petrol variants later in 2018.
