Yamaha Saluto
Saluto is the most basic commuter motorcycle from Yamaha India in the 100cc segment. Designed to be frugal and comfortable for everyday use, Saluto delivers competitive fuel economy along with the reliability and everyday comfort. Powered by an 110cc 4-stroke air-cooled single-cylinder engine, Saluto produces 7.5 PS of power and 8.5 NM of torque for ease-of-riding without sacrificing mileage. Also, it is not devoid of style as the design is quite sharp for its segment with a bikini fairing, fuel tank graphics and a sporty-looking tail section. Wheels are alloys and it comes with drum brakes at both ends.

Yamaha Saluto Braking and Safety
Saluto comes with drum brakes at both that provide sufficient braking performance in all conditions. While they provide cost-effectiveness, it would have been nice to get an optional front disc brake as well. Also, tyres are tube-type which means they will deflate instantly in case of a puncture.

Like a typical commuter motorcycle in the 100cc segment, Saluto is tuned to deliver competitive fuel economy under all riding conditions. Although, fuel tank capacity of 7.2 litres could have been bigger.
