Yamaha MT-15
The 2020 MT-15 gets new colours, rear radial tyre, and a side-stand engine cut-off feature. It is powered by a 155cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine that makes 18.5hp and 13.9Nm, mated to a 6-speed transmission. The kerb weight of the motorcycle remains the same as the BS4 model, at 138kg. It comes equipped with 282mm and 220m disc brakes at both ends with single-channel ABS. Other features include an all-LED headlamp, tail-lamp and a digital instrument console. The BS6 Yamaha MT-15 is available at a price of Rs 1.39 lakh, ex-showroom.

Yamaha MT-15 Braking and Safety
Braking duties on the Yamaha MT-15 are taken care of with the help of a 282mm disc brake up front along with a 220mm disc brake at the rear. The bike gets a single-channel ABS (Anti-Lock Braking System) which means that the safety equipment works on the front wheel only. Furthermore, the bike gets an all LED headlamp that offers better illumination than a regular halogen unit.

Yamaha MT-15 comes with a 10-litre fuel tank. The claimed fuel mileage of the BS6 engine hasn’t been declared by the company.
