As India gears up for the inaugural edition of MotoGP Bharat 2023, Yamaha hosted a meet and greet event, where riders from the Yamaha MotoGP team— Fabio Quartararo and Franco Morbidelli— interacted with over 1,000 employees at the company’s manufacturing facility in Surajpur, Uttar Pradesh.
The rider duo from the Monster Energy Yamaha MotoGP team engaged in spirited discussions about their journey in the thrilling world of MotoGP, shared insights on their racing strategies, and signed autographs, leaving the intrigued Yamaha employees with cherished mementos of this unforgettable evening.
The event not only deepened the connection between the riders and their fervent Indian fanbase but also showcased Yamaha’s unwavering commitment to bringing the excitement of MotoGP closer to enthusiasts in the region. The riders and India Yamaha Motor expressed their gratitude for the overwhelming support and enthusiasm from the Indian fans, promising an exhilarating show in the upcoming MotoGP Bharat 2023 race.
MotoGP Bharat starts today
The first edition of MotoGP Bharat starts today with the practice rounds with the qualifying rounds and final rounds to be held on 23 and 24 September, respectively at the iconic BIC in Greater Noida. It is the 13th leg of the ongoing 2023 season of MotoGP.
A total of 41 teams with 82 riders will feature in the flagship two-wheeler motorsport event which will encompass MotoGP, Moto 2 and Moto 3 over the course of three days. The main MotoGP event will feature a total of 28 riders from 12 teams. The event is being organised by Fairstreet Sports under a licence agreement with Dorna Sports who hold exclusive rights for hosting MotoGP events.
