Ahead of the MG Windsor EV’s official launch on September 11, some MG dealerships have started accepting bookings unofficially for the CUV. Upon launch, the MG Windsor will be the brand’s third all-electric offering after the ZS EV and the Comet.

MG Windsor EV: What is it?

The MG Windsor will be the rebadged version of the Wulling Air EV. It will retain its unique design and feature a full-width light bar at the front and rear. The vehicle features flush door handles, vertically aligned headlights, and a charging port placed on the front fender of the vehicle.

Inside, the MG Windsor EV will get a 15.6-inch infotainment system with wireless smartphone connectivity, navigation, and MG’s personal assistant. Other features include a panoramic sunroof, automatic climate control, rear seats with a reclining function, a 360-degree camera, and more.

In terms of the Windsor’s powertrain options, the EV is offered with two battery packs in the global markets: 37.9kWh and 506kWh unit. It is unclear which of them will make it to India and MG claims a range of 460km on a full charge. More details will emerge in the coming days, so stay tuned.
