Volkswagen India launches the new “My Volkswagen” app, a one-stop solution that offers a digital experience for prospective and existing customers. The mobile application offers a 360-degree experience with holistic offerings for the customer.
Right from exploring the Volkswagen product portfolio, to scheduling test drives, 360-degree car visualizer, and online booking to completing the customer journey by organizing service schedules, vehicle health reports, and online purchases of loyalty products, all can be done via the app.
Ensuring enhanced customer convenience and connectivity, the “My Volkswagen” app enables users to monitor their fuel usage and expenses, calculate service costs, conduct an evaluation for their pre-owned car, and calculate the EMIs that provide them with indicative financial transparency and planning.
The mobile application features location tracking, geo-fencing, time-fencing and vehicle monitoring for health and statistics. It also enables the users to locate the nearest dealership, or service workshop and get roadside assistance basis their need.
Customers can assess their driving behaviour and performance in real-time on the “My Volkswagen” app. However, the customer would need to connect to the Volkswagen telematics solution (dongle) to avail of this facility.
The “My Volkswagen” app also offers a ‘Digital Owner’s Manual’ that provides information on the signs, symbols and warnings that could potentially appear on the analogue or digital display screen and/or infotainment of the vehicle. Keeping pace with evolving technologies, the feature can be explored by either ‘type-search’, ‘voice command’, or even ‘scan the image’.
