Tesla owners are at it again, proving that you can love the car but loathe the CEO. Showing strong emotions, they have slapped a fresh batch of bumper stickers on their EVs, pledging their undying love for Tesla’s electric vehicles — while disapproving Elon Musk’s latest antics.

It all started when Musk, the world’s richest man and part-time meme lord, made a hand gesture at Donald Trump’s inauguration. Some called it a “Sieg Heil” (a victory salute by the Nazis), while others chalked it up as an “enthusiastic moment” flair. Either way, it was enough to divide the Tesla community faster than a Cybertruck reveal. Now, Tesla owners are letting their bumpers do the talking.

Bumper stickers roast session for Elon

Let’s face it slapping your opinions on your car bumper isn’t exactly groundbreaking. One has to give Tesla owners some credit has they have turned it into a conversation piece. For the past few years, they’ve been using their bumpers to express their undying love for their electric vehicles — and their complicated feelings about Elon Musk.

Now, there’s a fresh batch of bumper stickers hitting the streets, and Tesla owners aren’t holding back. Loyalists and diehard fans are making one thing clear they love their Teslas, but they’re not exactly signing up for the Elon Musk fan club.

Take Reddit user u/JealousZealousJesuit, for example, who perfectly summed up the sentiment, “I didn’t buy a Tesla because I like Elon, and I’m not gonna sell it just because he’s a Nazi. Look at how many people still own Volkswagens.”

Meanwhile, others are stuck in a love-hate relationship with their Teslas. They’ve vowed never to buy another Musk product again — but due to financial constraints, they’re stuck with their EV for now. Maybe the bumper sticker should read — Stuck with Tesla, Not stuck on Elon.

Here’s what else you will see on a Tesla these days —

  1. Bought it before we knew how awful he is
  2. I bought it this before we knew Elon was crazy
  3. Bought it before we knew how awful he is

Elon’s Drama: Bumper sticker sellers’ goldmine

On a lighter note, Musk’s controversies have turned into a goldmine for bumper sticker sellers on Amazon. Turns out, one person’s scandal is another’s cash cow. Musk probably didn’t see it coming — his antics becoming the best thing to happen to bumper sticker sales.

Tesla owners have been using bumper stickers to voice their opinions for years, but things hit a new high or low in November 2024. That’s when regretful Tesla bumper stickers soared to the top three on Amazon’s bestseller list. Clearly people were done with Musk’s support for Trump’s campaigns and his right-wing shenanigans.

Fast forward to today, and the anti-Musk bumper stickers are back with a vengeance. Sellers are rubbing their hands together, laughing all the way to the bank, while Tesla owners are busy sticking their feelings—literally—on their cars.
