The wait is over, and after several weeks of teasers and details emerging, Hyundai has launched the updated Alcazar in India, with prices starting at Rs 14.99 lakh, ex-showroom. The Hyundai Alcazar’s diesel variants start at Rs 15.99 lakh, ex-showroom.
The Hyundai Alcazar is available in petrol and diesel variants, as the prices suggest. Apart from the two engine options carried over, the seven-seater Hyundai introduces features that the older model missed out on, and here are the features the new Alcazar gets that the older one did not.
2024 Hyundai Alcazar features
In terms of features, the new Alcazar gets many. Starting with the exterior, the design is completely new, although based on the same platform. The new Alcazar looks more butch and gets H-shaped DRLs with vertically stacked headlights. The grille design is also new, along with the alloy wheels on the Alcazar facelift.
Moving on to the interior of the new Alcazar, the seats get additional thigh support extensions, ventilated rear seats, the option of adjusting the front passenger seat electronically by the rear seat passengers, 8-way adjustable powered driver and passenger seat, and second-row captain seats with armrests. All these features have been added to make the Alcazar more comfortable than the older model.
Moving on to tech, the new Alcazar gets an NFC-based digital key that allows the doors to be open using the mobile phone or a smartwatch, wireless phone charging for the second-row occupants, rain-sensing wipers, and dual-zone climate control. Overall, the new Alcazar has much more to offer in terms of a package compared to the older model.
