Honda recently launched the new Amaze in India at Rs 7.99 lakh, ex-showroom. The Amaze got a host of updates in terms of design and features, the most notable one being ADAS — a first for the segment. Now, after the end of the introductory pricing period, Honda has hiked prices for the new Amaze across its variants, while some trims are expensive by up to Rs 30,000. New Honda Amaze pricing: New vs old
As mentioned earlier, the Amaze prices have gone up and the entry-level version has gone up by Rs 10,000, while the top-spec ZX CVT variant is now Rs 30,000 more expensive. Honda Amaze engine specifications and competition
The new Honda Amaze is powered by a 1.2-litre petrol engine that makes 89bhp and 110Nm of torque. The engine is mated to a five-speed manual transmission or a CVT gearbox. The engine returns a claimed mileage of 18.65kmpl. The Honda Amaze competes with the Hyundai Aura, Maruti Suzuki Dzire, and the Tata Tigor. The Amaze is the only sedan in its class to not have a CNG option.
