Maruti Suzuki has announced a price hike for several models, which witness an increase of up to Rs 62,000. The price hike is not across the range and is for select models only, effective April 8. The Maruthi Suzuki models that will witness a price hike include FY25’s best-seller, the Maruti Suzuki Wagon R, which will be dearer by up to Rs 14,000.
Maruti Suzuki Price hike — Which models are affected?
As per an announcement by Maruti Suzuki, models such as the Grand Vitara, Eeco, Wagon R, Ertiga, XL6, Dzire Tour S, and Fronx will become dearer. Amongst the models mentioned, the Grand Vitara will see the highest price hike of Rs 62,000 while the Fronx receives the lowest, Rs 2,500. Below is a detailed list.

Maruti Suzuki says that the hike is owing to various factors. In a statement, Maruti Suzuki stated, “Due to rising input costs, operational expenses, regulatory changes and feature additions, the Company has planned to increase car prices starting on 8 April, 2025. While the Company is committed to optimising costs and reducing the impact on its customers, the Company is constrained to pass on some of the increased expenses to the market.”
