Isuzu Motors India declared the milestone of producing one lakh vehicles from its advanced manufacturing facility at the Sri City plant in Andhra Pradesh, highlighting its strong commitment to the Indian market. Gaining popularity for being durable and reliable, this milestone was marked by the rollout of the Isuzu D-Max V-Cross model.
Setting up their operations with a manufacturing facility in Sri City in the year 2016, Isuzu Motors began their Phase-II operations in 2020 with a new press shop facility and engine assembly plant, producing over 14,00,000 pressed parts since then.

Isuzu D-Max V-Cross: Powertrain and Features
The four-seater Isuzu D-Max V-Cross, with automatic transmission, is powered by a 4-cylinder VGS turbo intercooled diesel engine with displacement of 1898 cc that gives 160.92 bhp and 360 Nm of peak torque. The body of the pick-up truck is 5332 mm long, 1880 mm wide, 1855 mm tall and has a wheelbase of 3095 mm. The interior features leather upholstery with a digital cluster along with other features such as gloss black AC air vents, soft pad on all side door armrests, dashboard top utility space with lid and much more. The safety features include 6 airbags, an anti-lock braking system (ABS), rear camera among others.
Isuzu Motors India Expansion
In the past two years, Isuzu Motors India has doubled its vehicle and engine production, meeting an increase in demand in the market while maintaining Isuzu’s global quality standards. As part of its ‘Make in India’ strategy, the company has enhanced domestic operations and helped expand Isuzu’s global presence.
Adding up to the increase of production, Isuzu Motors India has expanded its presence across the country this year. The company further plans to grow its network to bring the brand closer to customers for a better ownership experience.
