Hyundai is gearing up to launch the next-generation Venue by the end of 2025. As a strong contender in the compact SUV segment, the Venue will continue to rival models like the Maruti Suzuki Brezza, Tata Nexon, Kia Sonet, Mahindra XUV300, the new Skoda Kodiaq, and the upcoming Kia Syros. Here’s everything you need to know about the 2025 Venue.
New generation Hyundai Venue: What’s new?
Hyundai has been conducting test runs of the new Venue, and it’s expected to feature a fresh front design, likely inspired by the Creta. The SUV is expected to retain the split headlight design, with cube-shaped LED headlights and a parametric grille. Spy shots suggest the Venue will keep its silhouette but sport a new set of alloy wheels. At the rear, expect horizontal LED tail lights, with the top variant possibly featuring a connected LED light bar.
Inside, the cabin will undergo a complete overhaul, likely drawing inspiration from the Creta. It will include a larger infotainment system, an all-digital instrument cluster, new colour options, a redesigned steering wheel, and a range of advanced features, including Level 2 ADAS.
New generation Hyundai Venue: Engine Specifications
Hyundai will continue offering all three engine options in the new Venue, including the 1.2-litre naturally aspirated petrol, 1-litre turbo petrol, and 1.5-litre diesel. The 1.2-litre engine delivers 82 bhp at 6,000 rpm and 113.8 Nm at 4,000 rpm, paired with a 5-speed manual transmission. The 1-litre turbo petrol produces 118 bhp at 6,000 rpm and 172 Nm between 1,500 — 4,000 rpm, available with both a 6-speed manual and a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic. The 1.5-litre diesel offers 114 bhp and 250 Nm, but surprisingly, it’s only available with a 6-speed manual. There’s hope Hyundai might introduce a 6-speed automatic torque converter for this variant in the future.
