Long wait for the Honda BR-V will finally end in May 2016, as the company has begun the pre-launch promotional activities for the compact SUV. Set to rival Hyundai Creta, Renault Duster and other compact SUVs available in the market, the BR-V will be the only 7-seater vehicle in its category.
Honda BR-V Expected Price
Since the BR-V is built on the extended Brio platform, which is developed locally, we expect the BR-V to be priced quite aggressively. Besides the platform, almost all other parts including engines, gearboxes etc are also being developed here that will help the company keep the cost under check. Though no official words on its pricing yet, we expect it to be priced between Rs 8 lakh – Rs 12 lakh.
Honda BR-V Specifications
The BR-V is expected to be offered with the same 1.5-litre i-VTEC petrol and 1.5-litre i-DTEC diesel that do duty in the Mobilio. While the gasoline engine is good for 117bhp and 145Nm, the diesel unit develops 99bhp and 200Nm. Both the engines come mated a 5-speed manual transmission, though an automatic gearbox might also be on offer.

Honda BR-V Mileage
