Out of the two muscle cars, one looks to be a modern one while the other carries a vintage touch. Out of these two, the modern version can be seen with aerodynamic mods at the front. The car is also seen with a rear spoiler that gives it a lot of character. The two Hot Wheels toy cars to be showcased at Auto Expo 2018 will come with flame graphics as clearly seen in the sketches.
The pricing and other details on the two Hot Wheels cars will most likely be announced at the Auto Expo 2018 only. As already mentioned, Hot Wheels is a renowned toy maker and its history dates back to the year 1968. The brand falls under the American toy maker Mattel and it was the prime rival to Matchbox. Under the Hot Wheels brand name, the toy maker used to make 1:64, 1:43, 1:50 and 1:18 scale diecast toy cars. The cars to be showcased at Auto Expo 2018 are expected to bear one of these dimensions only.
Multiple automobile manufacturers had entered into an agreement with Hot Wheels that their real production cars can be mimicked as toy cars by the brand. Besides Hot Wheels cars, Mattel used to sell separate racing track kit that further stepped up the popularity of the brand. Hot Wheels initially started for children but in the last 15 years, many adults are also seen collecting the toy cars of the said name.
Coming back to the prime topic, there are currently no details on the pricing of these new Hot Wheels cars. While most of the Hot Wheels cars are priced at Rs 99 in India, these being special models are expected to be priced a bit higher. More details to be unwrapped at Auto Expo 2018.
