American car maker Ford has given all its Mustang fans to smile ear-to-ear as it has for the first time teased the new Shelby GT 500 and confirms that its fastest ever production car will make its global debut in 2019. Riding high on the success of Ford Mustang performance brand the all-new Mustang Shelby GT500 is loaded with the most venom ever, and is likely to shed a power of over 700 horsepower from its supercharged V8 engine. The company also confirms that Shelby GT500 will be the most powerful street-legal production Ford ever.
The video teased by Ford showcases the current generation Ford Mustang with aggressive styling large front air-intake, big rear spoiler and a promise to deliver 700 ho of power. Embodying Ford Performance team’s motorsport expertise, the company claims that this new Mustang is engineered to stand apart on roadways and race tracks. It is tuned with innovative track technologies, performance hardware, plus aggressive and functional track-tuned styling. We would also recommend to put the volume up and use headphones to experience the sound of of the 5.2-litre V8 engine that will power the 2019 Ford Mustang Shelby GT500.
While Car-enthusiasts across the world wait in anticipation to see the new Shelby GT500, it would be interesting to see how this car handles around the corners and will Ford hit the sweet spot with its agility or will only continue to be fast in a straight line. Globally the new Shelby GT500 will be unveiled in 2019 and will challenge the likes of Dodge Challenger Hellcat. As much as we would want this car to come to India, it is highly unlikely that Ford India brings this here.
