The 2025 Tata Altroz is generating buzz, with Tata Motors confirming its premium hatchback will debut on May 22. Recently spied testing, the facelifted Altroz was spotted in its CNG variant. The updated hatchback is set to offer four powertrain choices: two petrol options, a diesel, and a CNG. Tata has been enhancing its CNG lineup, matching the features of its internal combustion vehicles and leading the way with twin-cylinder technology, first introduced in the current Altroz in 2023. New Tata Altroz CNG spotted: Features
Tata Motors has been sharing teasers for the 2025 Altroz on various social media platforms for the last couple of weeks. The new spy images posted by Rushlane reveal the cabin design, the infotainment system and the features. The report confirms that the 2025 Altroz i-CNG will be equipped with a dual-cylinder tank instead of the traditional single-cylinder. Not only is this cylinder design pleasing to the eyes, it also offers a better boot space.
The 2025 Altroz i-CNG model will be packed with top-end features like a segment-first 10.25-inch infotainment system by Harman along with four speakers and four tweeters, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster with real time navigation map, connected tech, and a single-panel voice-assisted electric sunroof.
New Tata Altroz CNG spotted: New Seats
Tata Motors has revamped the seats and upholstery of the upcoming Altroz. The seat squabs have been crafted to increase comfort with extended and angular under-thigh support. The rear seats get two adjustable headrests, while the hatchback continues to come with rear air conditioning vents, armrest, height-adjustable driver’s seat and cooled glove box.

The Altroz will continue to be available in petrol, diesel and CNG. It is the only hatchback in the market to offer a diesel option. There will be a choice to opt for either the frugal 1.2-litre naturally aspirated petrol or the more powerful turbo petrol.
The Altroz is based on the Alfa Architecture, and the current model has earned a 5-star safety rating by Global NCAP. The 2025 hatchback will come with six airbags, ESP, ABS (Anti-lock Braking System) and EBD (Electronic Brakeforce Distribution), tyre pressure monitoring system, a 360-degree camera, blind spot monitor and in-built ISOFIX child seat anchorages.
