The Nissan Kicks gets a complete makeover, and the company has unveiled the 2025 Kicks in Brooklyn at the opening rounds of the 2024 NCAA Men’s Basketball Tournament at Barclays Center. Compared to its predecessor, the 2025 Kicks is larger on the outside and roomier inside, with generous cargo space. The Kicks also gets a power panoramic sunroof, enhancing the spacious interior feel.
New Nissan Kicks: What does it get?
The 2025 Nissan Kicks features even more available technology and capability, wrapped in a new design. The Kicks, as per the company, gets the best cargo volume and ground clearance in the segment. The compact SUV also gets an all-wheel-drive option for the first time and a new 2.0-litre petrol engine with more power. The engine now makes 140bhp and 190Nm of torque.
In terms of comfort, the Kicks gets a 12.3-inch infotainment system, wireless phone connectivity, type C ports, wireless mobile charging, a 10-speaker audio system, 360-degree camera, steering assist, cruise control, and a long list of electronic aids to keep the occupants and pedestrians safe.
Nissan has not revealed the pricing yet, however, the Kicks will be available in S, SV and SR trims. In terms of the India launch, given that the Kicks was on sale here previously, the carmaker could re-launch the vehicle here as per their new plans for India, along with Renault.
