Yamaha FZ-S FI V4 gets two new colour schemes

Yamaha FZ-S competes against the likes of Bajaj Pulsar P150, Pulsar N150, Honda Unicorn 160, and TVS Apache RTR 160 to name a few.

Yamaha has announced the addition of two new colour schemes to FZ-S FI V4. The sporty commuter motorcycle is now available in two new shades– Dark Matte Blue, and Matte Black. Prices of the updated FS-S FI V4 starts at Rs 1,28,900 (ex-showroom). Besides the updated colour palette, there are no changes to the FZ-S range.

With the festive season around, Yamaha believes that introduction of new colour schemes in the FZ-S range is certainly going to boost sales for the Japanese bikemaker, and make a stronger connection with customers across India.  The two new shades will be available in addition to existing colour schemes namely Metallic Grey, Majesty Red, and Metallic Black.

Powering the FZ-S is a 149cc engine producing 12.2 bhp at 7,250 rpm and a peak torque of 13.3 Nm at 5500 rpm. This engine is paired with a 5-speed gearbox. Suspension duties are handled by telescopic forks up front and a 7-step adjustable mono-shock at the rear. Braking duties are handled by a 282mm front disc and a 220mm rear disc, aided by a single-channel ABS.

In terms of features, the FZ-S is equipped with a multi-function LCD instrument cluster, an LED headlight, a tyre hugging rear mudguard, lower engine guard and Bluetooth Enabled Y-Connect App that provides a host of convenient functionalities. It gets a 13-litre fuel tank and tips the weighing scales at 136 kg.
