In a first for a major electric two-wheeler manufacturer, Ultraviolette collaborated with the Indian Army for a special initiative. The Bengaluru-based EV startup and the Madras Regiment of the Indian Army came together for a memorable five-day rally across Tamil Nadu. The former provided a fleet of F77 motorcycles for the dedicated rally.
The rally was held to honour the Veterans and Veer Naris of the distinguished Madras Regiment, along with the broader Armed Forces community in the region. It reflected the deep respect and appreciation that Ultraviolette and the Madras Regiment Centre (MRC) have for the unwavering dedication of Indian Armed Forces personnel.
As it journeyed through varied terrains, the rally stood as a sincere tribute to their sacrifice and service to the nation. Conducted under the patronage of the Dakshin Bharat Area, the rally spanned six districts of Tamil Nadu — Tirupur, Karur, Dindigul, Madurai, Theni, and Coimbatore.
During the journey, the team of Army personnel connected with nearly 3,000 Veterans and Veer Naris, addressing their concerns, sharing vital information on entitlements, and offering on-the-spot assistance. The F77s covered a combined distance of over 6,000 kilometres.
Narayan Subramaniam, CEO & Co-founder of Ultraviolette, said that it was an honour collaborating with the Indian army as the initiative deeply resonates with the company’s ethos. “Our vision to create world-class technology is inspired by the spirit of India – undaunted, resilient, and driven by purpose. The F77 embodies the very principles that define our Armed Forces – precision, performance, and an unwavering commitment to excellence,” said Subramaniam.
