The new Jawa 350 has been launched in India, priced at Rs 2.14 lakh, ex-showroom. The Jawa 350 is based on a new frame and the engine has been tweaked for better character while being offered in a new Mystique Orange colour.

Speaking of design, the motorcycle has been designed to resemble the iconic Jawa from the yesteryears and features a round headlight, chrome tank, full fenders front and rear, lots of chrome, and exhausts designed to look similar to the older models.

The motorcycle rides on 18-inch front and 17-inch rear wheels, gets a telescopic front fork, dual rear shocks, disc brakes at both ends with dual-channel ABS, and a ground clearance of 178mm. The new Jawa tips the scale at 194kg.

Coming to the engine, the new Jawa 350 is powered by a 331cc, liquid-cooled single-cylinder engine that makes 22bhp and 28Nm of torque, mated to a 6-speed gearbox. The motorcycle also gets a slip-and-assist clutch.

The Jawa 350’s primary competitor in the Indian market is the Royal Enfield Classic 350 and the Bullet 350, which are powered by a 349cc, air-cooled engine that makes 20bhp and 27Nm of torque.
