KTM launched the much-awaited 390 Enduro R in India at Rs 3.36 lakh, ex-showroom. Unlike typical adventure bikes, the Enduro R is a hardcore off-roader, which is only suited for those venturing onto less-travelled roads. Here are the top alternatives at the same price point.
Royal Enfield Classic 650
Royal Enfield’s best-selling motorcycle, the Classic, is now available with a 650 cc engine and is priced the same as the Enduro R. The Classic 650 starts from Rs 3.37 lakh, ex-showroom Chennai, and is available in three variants — Hotrod, Classic and Chrome. The new Classic is based on the same platform as the Super Meteor 650 and the Shotgun 650. It is powered by a 648cc parallel-twin, oil-cooled engine that produces 46.4 bhp and 52.3 Nm of torque. It is paired with a 6-speed gearbox and a slip-and-assist clutch.
TVS Apache RR 310
The Apache RR 310 is an ideal sports tourer, which is great for long-distance rides and is equally comfortable enough to be your daily commuter. Based on the trellis frame, the RR 310 is powered by a 312 cc liquid-cooled engine that churns out 37.4 bhp at 9800 rpm and 29 Nm at 7900 rpm. It also offers ride modes — Urban, Rain, Sport and Track. The powertrain is mated to a 6-speed gearbox with slipper clutch and has a top speed of 164 kmph. It does 0 – 100 kmph in 6.74 seconds. The RR 310 is priced at Rs 2.75 lakh, ex-showroom Delhi.
KTM 390 Adventure
There is sibling rivalry within the KTM family as the 2025 390 Adventure takes on the 390 Enduro R. The Adventure is available in two models — Adventure, which is standard and the more extreme, the Adventure X. The Adventure and the Enduro R share the same 399 cc liquid-cooled engine that has an output of 45.3 bhp at 8500 rpm and 39 Nm at 6500 rpm. Both are mated to a 6-speed gearbox with a slipper clutch. The 390 Adventure offers three ride modes — Street, Rain and Offroad. The 390 Adventure costs Rs 3.67 lakh, ex-showroom Delhi.
