Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India (HMSI) has expanded its premium BigWing lineup by launching the much-awaited Rebel 500 at Rs 5.12 lakh, ex-showroom Haryana. The cruiser will exclusively be sold at select BigWing Topline dealerships and will initially be available in Gurugram, Mumbai, and Bengaluru. HMSI has confirmed that deliveries will commence from June 2025.

Honda Rebel 500: Design and Features
The Rebel 500 sports a retro cruiser, timeless design with an accessible seat height of just 690mm. This also helps in manoeuvring the bike at ease at slow speeds. Based on a tubular steel frame draws fresh, the Rebel rides on fat-tyred ‘bobber’ style, a steeply raked fuel tank and fat handlebars. The bike is decked out in an all-black vibe, with every component rocking that sleek Matt Gunpowder Black Metallic finish available in India as a single variant. Complete with seats for both rider and pillion, the Rebel 500 sports a full-LED lighting setup, including a retro-cool round headlight that screams classic style.
Honda Rebel 500: Engine Specifications
The Rebel is powered by a 471cc liquid-cooled, parallel twin-cylinder engine, delivering 45.5 bhp at 8,500 rpm and 43.3 Nm of torque at 6,000 RPM. The engine is paired with a 6-speed gearbox, offering smooth and linear power delivery ideal for both city commuting and highway cruising. The chassis is supported by telescopic front forks and Showa dual shock absorbers at the rear, ensuring comfort and stability.
In terms of braking system, it gets a 296mm front disc and 240mm rear disc with dual-channel ABS for safety. It further comes with Dunlop tyres and an inverted LCD display for essential information.
