Hero MotoCorp had one of the most attractive pavilions at the Auto Expo 2025. The company launched four new models along with plenty of other concepts and pre-production prototypes on display. Two big launches were Xpulse 210 and Xtreme 250R, both of them new entrants to the Hero’s Premia range.
Initially bookings were supposed to open in February 2025, however, for unknown reasons they were delayed. Hero has now announced that bookings for Xtreme 210 and Xtreme 250R will commence 20 March 2025 onwards. The company has confirmed the same through a post on its social media handles.
The former is priced at Rs 1.76 lakh whereas the latter will cost Rs 1.80 lakh (both ex-showroom). Deliveries for both motorcycles are expected to commence by the end of this month or early next month. Hero MotoCorp is yet to start accepting bookings for the other two models launched at the Auto Expo— Xoom 125 and Xoom 160. We expect an official announcement regarding the same soon.
Hero Xpulse 210: Specs & Features
The Xpulse 210 may be a visual evolution over the existing Xpulse 200 4V but its heart and underpinnings are very different. Powering the new adventure tourer is a larger 210cc, liquid-cooled single cylinder engine delivering 24 bhp and 20.7 Nm. The engine is paired with a six-speed gearbox via a slip and assist clutch for smoother shifts. Hardware duties are carried out by telescopic front forks with 210 mm of travel and a rear mono-shock with 205 mm of travel.
In terms of features, the Xpulse 210 comes equipped with a digital TFT instrument cluster compatible with smartphone connectivity and turn-by-turn navigation, full LED illumination, a USB charging port.and a host of electronics such as switchable rear ABS, and terrain modes.
Hero Xtreme 250R: Specs & Features
Based on the Xtunt 2.5R concept bike that Hero showcased in EICMA 2023, the Xtreme 250R is the sportiest street naked motorcycle by Hero yet. It is powered by a 249.03 cc, single cylinder, liquid cooled DOHC engine that kicks out 29 bhp and 25 Nm of peak torque. It is mated to a 6-speed transmission with a slip and assist clutch. Hero claims the Xtreme 250R to be the fastest in the quarter-litre class achieving 0-60 kmph in just 3.2 seconds.
Built on a steel trellis frame, the Xtreme 250R sits on golden finished 43mm USD front forks and a preload-adjustable monoshock. Stopping duties are carried out by disc brakes at both ends. The motorcycle rolls on 17-inch diamond cut alloy wheels, wrapped in 110/70 front and 150/60 rear tyres.
In terms of amenities, the Xtreme 250R gets the same digital 4.2-inch TFT instrument cluster compatible with smartphone connectivity and turn-by-turn navigation, full LED illumination, and a USB charging port.
