Hero MotoCorp says that both of its newly launched scooters – Maestro Edge and Duet – received overwhelming response from buyers, and there has also been great demand for the new Splendor Pro.
Hero Motocorp, the leading two wheeler maker, sold over 1 million units of its bikes and scooters during the festive season this year. Starting from Navratras, the Indian two-wheeler giant took about 35 days to cross 1 million sales mark. The company claims to have recorded 11 per cent growth in its festive season sales over the last year.
“Thanks to the phenomenal customer response to our range of products including all the new launches, the 1 million unit landmark was achieved during the 35-day festive period starting with the Navratras. This is a robust 11% growth over the corresponding period last year.”, said the company in a statement.
The company says that both of its newly launched scooters – Maestro Edge and Duet – received overwhelming response from buyers, and there has also been great demand for the new Splendor Pro. These, along with the robust sales of Passion Pro and Glamour, and the continuing popularity of Pleasure and Maestro scooters have resulted in this double digit growth.
