Hero MotoCorp is pumping up its pre-launch campaign for the upcoming Mavrick 440. The flagship motorcycle, based on Harley Davidson X440, will make its official debut tomorrow (23 January 2023). Ahead of its premiere, the largest Indian two-wheeler manufacturer has released multiple teasers of the bike on its social media platforms.
Hero Mavrick 440 teased again
The latest teaser from Hero MotoCorp confirms that most of the body panels including the fenders, side panels, and fuel tank are made of metal parts. The earlier teasers revealed the exhaust note of the Mavrick 440. The thumpy exhaust note has already started garnering praises on social media.

Visual highlights revealed in the earlier teasers include a muscular fuel tank with extended shrouds giving the bike a sharp look. It will receive a round LED headlamp with an integrated H-shaped DRL. Other styling elements revealed from the teasers include a single-piece seat with a ribbed pattern, spoked alloy wheels and a single-piece pillion grab rail.
Another promising highlight of the Mavrick 440 is the fully-digital instrument console on offer. The LCD unit appears to be the most advanced instrument cluster offeredf till date by a Hero model, packing a lot of amenities. The part circular and part rectangular instrument cluster houses features such as speedometer, odometer, tachometer, gear position indicator, Bluetooth connectivity, call and message alerts, navigation, and distance to empty in addition to various tell tale lights.
Hero Mavrick 440: Powertrain, hardware specs
Powering Mavrick 440 will be the same 440cc single-cylinder, oil-cooled, two-valve, SOHC engine as the Harley Davidson X440 which motor pushes out 27 bhp and 38 Nm of peak torque. This engine is paired with a 6-speed gearbox which should come with a slip and assist clutch.
In terms of hardware, the neo-retro roadster will feature a suspension setup comprising 43mm KYB USD telescopic front forks and dual shock absorbers at the rear. Braking duties will be carried out by 320mm front and 240mm rear disc brakes aided by a dual-channel ABS.
