Hero MotoCorp has revamped the Destini 125, preparing to challenge the best-selling Suzuki Access 125 in the 125cc scooter segment. The 2025 Destini 125 comes with a fresh, chic yet retro design, new features, and several hardware updates. Let’s see how it stacks up against the Access 125.

The new Destini 125 continues to be powered by the 124.6 cc air-cooled engine with 9 bhp at 7,000 rpm and 10.4 Nm at 5,500 rpm. The Access 125, on the other hand, comes with a 124 cc engine with 8.5 bhp at 6,750 rpm and 10 Nm at 5,500 rpm. Both are mated to CVT automatic gearbox.

Hero Destini 125 vs Suzuki Access 125: Features

Hero has added a host of new features to the 2025 Destini 125. The scooter now comes with illuminated switches, under-seat storage lighting, and auto-cancelling indicators — a first in this class. It also gets a brand-new digital instrument console with Bluetooth connectivity, offering turn-by-turn navigation, an ECO indicator, a real-time mileage display, distance-to-empty, a charging port, and a low fuel indicator. The smart display further alerts riders about missed calls, messages, and incoming calls.

The Suzuki Access 125 features a Bluetooth-enabled digital console with turn-by-turn navigation, missed call alerts, caller ID, and notifications for calls, SMS, and WhatsApp messages. It also offers over-speed warnings, ETA updates, and a phone battery-level display. Additionally, the Access 125 includes a voltage meter, a one-push central locking system, and a USB charging port. The Access 125 and the Hero Destini 125 come with a front rack for extra storage.

Hero MotoCorp has launched the 2025 Destini 125 from Rs 80,450 to Rs 90,300. It is available in three variants — VX at Rs 80,450, ZX at Rs 89,300, and ZX+ at Rs 90,300. 

The Access 125, on the other hand, comes in four trims — Standard at Rs 80,700, Standard Disc Brake at Rs 85,601, Special Edition Disc Brake at Rs 87,402 and Ride Connect Edition at Rs 91,800.
