Bajaj Auto has just launched the Black Pack edition of its popular Pulsar range in India. Under the new edition, the Pulsar 150, Pulsar 180 and Pulsar 220 are being offered with a new paint scheme. The Pune-based manufacturer has launched the Black Pack edition to celebrate 1 crore unit sales of Bajaj Pulsar motorcycles worldwide. The Bajaj Pulsar Black Pack edition comes with white alloy wheels along with new decals. Besides, the new Bajaj Pulsar Black Pack edition also offers satin chrome exhaust cover and the rest of the motorcycle is in black. The company has not yet disclosed the price of the Bajaj Pulsar Black Pack edition, which means that the pricing should either be the same or marginally higher than the standard models. Bookings for the Pulsar Black Pack edition have begun at company’s dealerships across India.
Launched back in the year 2001, the Bajaj Pulsar range has been extremely popular in India and a key reason for this is the timely updates given to the range and addition of new models regularly. Bajaj Pulsar has offered many segment-first features over the years including side stand indicator along with twin pilot lamps that were present in no other bike at that point of time. Furthermore, self-cancelling indicators and digital-analogue instrument cluster were also not seen before and hence, the Pulsar had an edge over its competition. In mid-2017, Mr Rajiv Bajaj, Managing Director at Bajaj Auto said that new variants will be coming soon under the Pulsar umbrella and going by recent information the brand has plans to launch the Pulsar RS 400 in the coming months.
Commenting on the launch of Bajaj Pulsar Black Pack edition, Eric Vas, President, Motorcycle Business at Bajaj Auto Ltd said, “Pulsar has been India’s No.1 Sports motorcycle brand in the country since its launch in 2001.Bajaj Pulsar is sold in over 25 countries worldwide and is the market leader in most of them. We are proud to have achieved the milestone of 1 crore Pulsar customers around the world. To commemorate this achievement, we present the unique Black Pack edition.”
