A collection of pictures leaked online by a motoring blog suggest Bajaj Boxer X150 Cross is being tested in India. The images were taken at Mumbai-Pune highway near Lonavala, in which the motorcycle can be seen without camouflage, and is perhaps the adventure sports variant of the Boxer. The Boxer X150 Cross is so far only sold in some select markets like Zambia and Kenya. It is not yet known if Bajaj was testing the bike for an eventual launch in India. Speculation suggest it is being tested for international markets.
The adventure sports version was spotted with a raised front mud-guard, rear carrier, new body graphics, black alloy wheels and off-road tyres. However, the motorcycle in the images has drum brakes at both ends.
The Boxer X150 Cross is powered by a 144.8 cc, single cylinder engine that makes 12 bhp and 12.26 Nm of peak torque. It is the same unit that came in the Discover 150, which is now discontinued. Images of the Boxer adventure variant also suggested it has telescopic fork suspension setup up-front and a spring in spring (SNS) suspension setup at the back.
It comes with a 11-litre fuel tank and comes with electric as well as kick start.

A number of variants of the Boxer with engines ranging from 100 cc to 150 cc were a part of Bajaj’s line up in India, however the Boxer brand was eventually discontinued in the country with the only remaining bike from the clan being the Boxer 150.
