Honda Motorcycles & Scooters has launched an updated Dio in the market at a starting price of Rs 74,930, making it close to Rs 1500 more expensive than the outgoing model, making it close to Rs 1500 more expensive than the outgoing model. It is available in two variants: STD and DLX at Rs 85,648 (both ex-showroom).
Bookings for the 2025 Dio started across the country yesterday at every authorised Honda dealership in the domestic market. Deliveries are expected to commence later this month. The latest iteration of the Dio largely remains visually and mechanically unchanged although the scooter gains some features with this update.

2025 Honda Dio: What’s changed?
For 2025, the Dio gets the same 110cc single-cylinder, air-cooled engine which is now OBD2B compliant that makes the same power output as the old model. This engine kicks out 7.8 bhp and 9.03 Nm of peak torque while being mated to a CVT gearbox. It continues to be equipped with an idle start/stop system to improve fuel efficiency but Honda hasn’t revealed any exact numbers yet.
The 2025 Dio gets some feature upgrades such as a new 4.2-inch TFT digital display with readout for essential information like mileage indicators, trip meters, Eco indicator, and distance-to-empty; a USB C-type charging port, and halogen headlamps and taillamps. Alloy wheels are available in the top-spec DLX trim.
Design-wise the scooter remains unchanged, the Dio is offered in five colour choices namely Imperial Red Metallic, Pearl Igneous Black, Pearl Igneous Black + Pearl Deep Ground Gray, Mat Marvel Blue, and Mat Axis Gray Metallic.
