Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India (HMSI) today launched the updated 2023 CB300R at a price of Rs 2.40 lakh (ex-showroom). The neo-retro sports cafe roadster gets an updated OBD2 compliant engine. Bookings for the updated CB300R have started at all Honda BigWing dealerships across the country.

2023 Honda CB300R highlights
Design of the 2023 CB300R remains unchanged with design cues borrowed from the flagship CB1000R. Visual highlights include a round LED headlight, a muscular fuel tank, split seats and an upswept double barrel exhaust. In terms of features, it gets a fully digital instrument cluster, and all-LED lighting, with the addition of emergency stop signal and hazard light switch.
Honda is offering the CB300R in two colourways namely– Pearl Spartan Red and Matte Massive Grey Metallic. Coming to its hardware, suspension setup comprises 41mm USD front forks and an adjustable mono-shock absorber at the rear. Braking duties are carried out 296mm front disc brake (front) and a 220mm rear disc, aided by dual-channel ABS as standard.
Powering CB300R is a 286cc, 4 stroke, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine which is now more environment friendly than before. This motor churns out 30.7 bhp and 27.5 Nm of torque. This unit is paired with a 6-speed gearbox aided by a slip and assist clutch. Tipping the weighing scale at 146 kg, the updated CB300R is the lightest in its category.
