Triumph Motorcycles has just released the second teaser video of its upcoming new 2018 Speed Triple. This time around, the British manufacturer has made the motorcycle completely visible. In the teaser video, the new Triumph Speed Triple is seen going through its paces by two renowned riders, Carl Fogarty, seven time SBK world champion along with Gary Johnson who is a two time Isle of Mann TT winner. The video shows the RS version of the new 2018 Triumph Speed Triple, although a base version is also expected to come. The new 2018 Triumph Speed Triple will come with a fully coloured TFT instrument cluster just like the new Street Triple RS and updated 2018 Tiger range. The new Triumph Speed Triple is also seen with Arrow exhausts and the teaser shows that the motorcycle will come with a significantly throaty note than the existing model. The new 2018 Triumph Speed Triple will most likely continue with the same 1050cc, inline three cylinder engine mated to a six-speed gearbox. The power and torque output of this mill are expected to go up from the current figures of 133 hp and 111 Nm respectively.

Also, there should be updates to the electronics package and hence, the motorcycle is expected to come with the latest bells and whistles. The video also shows that the new Speed Triple will come with backlit switches. The braking and suspension system will most likely come from the house of Brembo and Ohlins respectively while the base model might see a few compromises. Also, the new Triumph Speed Triple will most likely come with new colours to have a better visual appeal.
