Auto Expo 2018 Renault India, in an attempt to further consecrate their commitment to the Electric revolution, have unveiled the dramatic Trezor all-electric super car concept based on the principles of Grand Touring cars. The Trezor electric car is Laurens Van Den Acker’s (Renault design chief) brainchild. Although the Trezor may never make it to production, the idea is to give us a benchmark of what we can expect from Renault cars of the future. The Trezor concept is 4700mm long, 1080mm high and 2180mm wide, which make the Trezor look impactful even when seen at a glance. The Gran Tourer theme continues on the coupe style two seater cabin and coupe-esque roofline. The unique design elements such as a single-piece clamshell roof and a carbon-fibre spine which connects the front and rear tubular steel frames add to the oomph factor on the Trezor Electric Concept.

The unique construct of the Trezor means that despite these rather large dimensions the Trezor still weighs in at 1600 kgs. Adhesion to the road comes in the form of 21-inch and 22-inch wheels at front and rear, respectively.
On the inside, the Trezor concept gets a stark contrast to the pale silver with a bright red interior theme. Red-leather interiors and dashboard trims included. The dashboard sports a large L-shaped display while the steering wheels features three displays that holds all the controls for the tech that is available on the GT concept. Powering the Trezor is an electric motor from Renault Formula E car which makes 350 hp and 380 Nm of torque. The Trezor also gets regenerative braking and can make the 0-100 dash in under 4 seconds.
