A new Insta reel from Kerala shows three cars on a hill top, a location similar to the one seen on the Harrier EV ad. However, while the Harrier EV climbed up a tricky terrain, the reel was shot in a place called Uravappaara, 50km away from where the Harrier EV showcased its capabilities.
Tata Harrier EV ad
The Tata Harrier EV ad draws inspiration from Land Rover ads that tackle a demanding situation, proving the capabilities of the SUVs. Following the same theme, Tata decided to showcase the Harrier EV’s capabilities by driving it up Elephant Rock in Vagamon, Kerala. The Instagram reel, however, was shot at a temple, meaning there was road access.
The boys have driven up to the hill in three vehicles — a Toyota Innova Crysta, a Mahindra XUV300, and a Maruti Suzuki Alto – which have gone up in off-road conditions in Uravappaara. The location has a brilliant view around it, and the monsoon adds to the serenity of the place.
Tata Harrier EV specifications
Tata Harrier EV is offered with an AWD variant, which was the star of the ad. The AWD Harrier EV also marks the return of a proper 4X4 from Tata Motors, albeit in an EV form.
The Tata Harrier EV AWD version is powered by a 75kWh battery pack that powers two motors, one on each axle to make a combined power of 390bhp and 504Nm of torque. The Harrier EV gets multiple terrain modes and off-road assist, making it a capable off-roader.
