India, Russia-led EAEU agree on FTA terms
India and the Russia-led Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) have signed Terms of Reference to begin negotiations on a Free Trade Agreement (FTA). The EAEU, which includes Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyz Republic, and Russia, has a combined GDP of $2.5 trillion and a single market of 183 million people. The FTA is expected to boost trade ties, diversify markets, and benefit MSMEs.
