Cricketer KL Rahul is no new name when it comes to owning a garage full of exotic cars, however, he loves SUVs, especially ones made by Land Rover. Rahul recently added a Land Rover Defender 110 to his car collection, which will share space with a host of other exotics, including a Lamborghini Huracan Spyder and an Aston Martin DB11.
Unlike most car collectors, KL Rahul also has SUVs as part of his collection and here are three SUVs owned by the Indian cricketer.
Land Rover Defender 110
Let’s start with the obvious, the Defender. The Land Rover Defender 110 is the latest addition to his SUV collection, bought in December last year. The latest iteration of the Defender costs Rs 93.55 lakh ex-showroom onwards, and the model owned by KL Rahul is believed to be a diesel version, which is powered by a 296bhp 3.0-litre diesel engine.
Range Rover Velar
The next SUV in Rahul’s collection is yet another Land Rover, the Range Rover Velar. Bearing a price tag of Rs 87.90 lakh ex-showroom, the Velar is sold with a 2.0-litre petrol or a 2.0-litre diesel engine, both paired to an automatic torque converter gearbox.
BMW X5
There are German vehicles in Rahul’s collection, however, the German SUV he owns is a BMW X5. It is not clear as to which model year the X5 is, but going by reports, the BMW X5 owned by the cricketer is powered by a 4.4-litre V8. Currently, the BMW X5 bears a price tag of Rs 1.12 crore onwards, ex-showroom.
