The Toyota Etios Liva is a locally developed hatchback from Toyota Kirloskar Motor. The car is sold with a choice of 1.2 litre petrol and a 1.4 litre diesel engines that are mated to a 5 speed manual gearbox, while an automatic transmission is not offered. In terms of safety, ABS and dual front airbags are standard across the variant range. While the petrol engine generates 70hp power at 5,600 rpm and 104Nm of torque at 3,100 rpm, the diesel produces 67hp at 3,800 rpm and 170Nm between 1,800 rpm to 2,400 rpm. Braking is courtesy a ventilated disc upfront and a drum setup at the rear. The Etios Liva has a large cabin, while the boot space is rated at 251 litres.
