In 2017, Lexus India launched the 5-seater RX 450h and now there is only the 7-seater option RX 450hL with a longer wheelbase, on sale. The SUV comes as a hybrid model – powered by a 3.5-litre V6 petrol-electric engine. The petrol unit generates a power output of 262hp/335Nm and along with the electric motor, the total number comes to 313hp/361Nm. This unit is mated to an e-CVT with all-wheel-drive. The RX 450hL is available in a single variant and competes with the Audi Q7 and BMW X5.
  • Lexus RX Exterior

    The 7-seater version of RX 450hL looks similar from front to the 5-seater. It gets lots of equipment such as LED projector headlamps, sequential LED tail-lamps and roof rails. It also comes with a panoramic sunroof.

  • Lexus RX Interior

    In the cabin, the 7-seater gets a 12.3-inch touch screen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Additionally, it comes with 10-way power front seats and third-row seat adjustment.

  • Lexus RX Engine

    Lexus RX 450hL comes with a hybrid powertrain (electric and petrol) which generates a total output of 313hp/361Nm. The engine is BS6 compliant and comes with an all-wheel-drive option.

  • Lexus RX Transmission

    The engine is mated to an e-CVT transmission with all-wheel-drive option. It also gets driving modes – Normal, Eco, Sport S and Sport S plus.

  • Lexus RX Mileage

    The claimed fuel efficiency of Lexus RX 450hL isn’t available but then SUV gets a 65 litres fuel tank.
