
Royal Enfield is one of the oldest motorcycle manufacturers in the world and also the one to have continued non-stop production since the beginning. Registered by the name of Enfield Motorcycle Company in 1893 in Redditch, it adopted the branding Royal Enfield to be used on its future motorcycles. The company made its first motorcycle in 1901. The ever popular Bullet is the longest running motorcycle in production in the world. Royal Enfield came to India in 1949 in collaboration with Madras Motors. Currently, the company has the following motorcycles in its lineup – Bullet 350, Bullet 500, Bullet ES, Thunderbird 350, Thunderbird 500, Classic 350, Classic 500, Classic Chrome, Desert Storm, Squadron Blue, Continental GT and Himalayan.
