Royal Enfield recently announced its sales figures for the month of July 2019 and the total unit sale was lower compared to the same month last year. However, the Royal Enfield 650 twins have been doing great in terms of sales in India and in international markets. In fact, the Interceptor 650 recently emerged as the best-selling motorcycle in the naked streetfighter category in the UK.

As most Royal Enfield motorcycles have been in the past, the Interceptor 650 has also grown immensely popular with custom bike builders. We often feature such custom RE bikes and we must admit the custom bike building scenario in India is only on its way to betterment with each build. Today, we've got one that's called Tandav 650. The scrambler-style Interceptor 650 looks quite capable to do the Tango (or should we say the Tandav).

Bangalore-based Bulleteer Custom have given the Interceptor 650 new upside down forks but over to the rear, it retains the gas-charged twin shocks. Front indicators have been integrated in the far ends of the handlebar.

The modified Royal Enfield Tandav 650's tail lamp has been replaced with a custom LED unit. The engine has been blacked out and so have the wheels, which are now shod with on/off-road tyres with a 120 section tyre upfront and a 160 section tyre at the rear.

The motorcycle is powered by the new 650cc parallel-twin engine that makes 47 hp at 7,100 rpm and 52 Nm of torque at 4,000 rpm. The exhaust is a custom unit so one can expect a marginal upgrade in power and slightly different exhaust note as well.
