Mahindra XUV300 is the company’s latest SUV that is set to be launched in February 2019. The company already has the TUV300 in its line up that has not been able to do much in terms of sales. Now the XUV300 gets modern styling and more features due to which Mahindra must be hoping for some good numbers with this one. Here we have compared the Mahindra XUV300 and TUV300 to explain the differences in a better way.

The upcoming Mahindra XUV300 is based on the Ssangyong Tivoli and hence, it gets premium interiors that seem way better than the cabin of the TUV300. The XUV300 offers dual climate control system along with a segment first electric sunroof to enhance the convenience and offer a decent cabin experience to the occupants. Moreover, you also get multiple smartly designed storage spaces for better practicality and all the elements aim to make the XUV300 a better package compared to the TUV300.

The upcoming Mahindra XUV300 shares its 1.5-litre, four-cylinder diesel engine with the Marazzo. The engine is good for producing a maximum power output of 121 bhp. On the other hand, the Mahindra TUV300 gets a three-cylinder diesel engine that manages to shed 100 bhp.

Mahindra XUV300 will come based on the Ssangyong Tivoli which means that it will be underpinned by a monocoque frame. On the other hand, the TUV300 is based on a ladder frame. While the ladder frame offers benefits in off-roading, it is not good for offering comfortable city rides compared to the monocoque frame.

In terms of safety, the new Mahindra XUV300 will come with seven airbags on the top end variants and in this area as well, it will have an edge over the TUV300. This will make the XUV300 possibly the safest SUV in the segment.
