Hyundai Motor India Ltd (HMIL) came up a brilliant way of putting young minds to test and mark Children's Day 2018. Kids from grade 2 to grade 5 were invited to submit a car design sheer out of their imagination and the winners have been announced. Hyundai, in fact, has built prototypes of the winning entries which are on showcase at Ambience Mall, Gurugram.

Sanidhaya Garg, an 8-year-old, addressed the problem with rising air pollution. So, he designed the Air Cleaner Super Sonic Car. He says: My dream car sucks pollution from air and uses it as fuel. It gives out pure oxygen. The blades of the fan are round so that they don't hurt the birds and I can travel all around the world while purifying the air.

Six-year-old Advay's car design is by far the closest it can get to reality and is lot like some flying car concepts that exist today. He explains: My dream car will fly and run on solar energy. It will have a parachute as a safety measure. It will also run on road. When it will go on road the wings will collapse & go inside the car.

Manya Arora, 7, imagined a car that would help clean our oceans. She explains more about her Ocean Cleaning Car: Ocean cleaning car will be used to collect plastic waste from the ocean and clean it. It's fuel will be water to make it pollution free. It will sea animals live happily.

Eight-year-old Prachi Gupta's Ecofix Car addresses another environment concern through preserving rain water. Prachi has this to say about her design: My car can preserve rain water and the water can be used later for any purpose. It can be in areas where there is a problem of water.
