DC Design has introduced a new motorcycle, christened the Carbon-Shot under its new brand DC2. The Carbon-Shot is based on the Royal Enfield's Classic 350 and Classic 500 model and is priced at Rs 76000. The catch, however, is that the buyer will have to provide DC2 with a donor bike. The Rs 76,000 price needs to be paid on top of giving a Royal Enfield Classic 350/ 500.

The DC2 Carbon-Shot is available in a wide range of body colours, namely; Admiral Blue, Cardinal Red, Dark Moss, Cedar Brown and Black. The DC2 Carbon-Shot kit looks radically different from the Royal Enfield Classic it's based on. The Carbon-Shot consists of a full LED round-shape headlamp, wherein the basic outline of the headlamp has been retained from the original Classic model along with the chrome rear view mirrors. DC has also upgraded the front indicators which now features billet casing and are finished in chrome.

The single rider saddle is wrapped in leather and is made of steel which gives the motorcycle a premium and retro appeal along with claimed comfort for long rides. At the rear, the DC2 Carbon-Shot features LED tail lamp with turn signals and stop lamp integrated under the rider seat. This comes across as a sleek arrangement since the Carbon-Shot doesn't have a full rear-fender but features a chopped-off fender in carbon-fibre finish instead.

The entire bodywork of the Carbon-Shot is made up of carbon fibre and steel material, which should result in lower weight but the company hasn't disclosed the official figures yet. The fuel tank also looks impressive with its carbon-fibre finishing and has also been designed to seamlessly blend with the body of the motorcycle. The front fender also is made of carbon fibre along with the watch inspired air filter and a battery cover with a mix of both, aluminium and carbon fibre.

The booking for the DC2 Carbon-Shot is open with a minimum booking amount of Rs 25,000 and the deliveries of the motorcycle will commence in June, 2017. The standard Royal Enfield Classic 350 is priced at Rs 1.25 lakh, while the Classic 500 costs Rs 1.60 lakh, ex-showroom, Delhi, which implies that the DC2 Carbon-Shot will cost over Rs 2 lakh for the Classic 350 and close to Rs 2.5 lakh for the Classic 500. Although, the cost seems a bit on the higher end, the results are quite impressive and the Carbon-Shot is sure to stand out in the crowd, drawing awe-filled sights.
