The Hyundai Venue has been introduced in India with a new ‘Sport’ variant and it brings with it an intelligent Manual Transmission (iMT) which aims to offer an engaging driving of a manual shifter, with the ease of an automatic. Additionally, Hyundai has also thrown in some cosmetic updates, and features that are offered with the Sport model that help it stand out from the rest.

There are other red accents which can be found placed in different parts of the Hyundai Venue Sport like the roof rail, the plastic cladding on the door, and above the wheel arches as well for that additional sporty appearance. There is also a new “Sport” badge placed on the C-Pillar of the sub-compact SUV.

The cabin of the Hyundai Venue Sport has been reworked as well. It features a new Sport Dual Tone trim set up with denim-like fabric seats and red piping and stitching. The dash also features red accents to complement the exterior. The HVAC knobs, the ac vents and the stitching of the leather-wrapped steering wheel in red add to the sporty flavour that Hyundai is going for. Additionally, the Venue now gets a new multi-function flat-bottom steering wheel which matches the design in its latest generation models like the new Creta.

The Hyundai Venue comes equipped with an iMT option that offers a standard H-pattern manual shift lever but does away with a clutch deal entirely. Hyundai has fitted the gear lever with a sensor which when triggered by the driver’s hand actuates the clutch automatically, allowing the driver to shift normally like a vehicle with a manual transmission vehicle. For that added sporty look, Hyundai has included a set of stainless steel finished pedals as well.
